As a child, there was a running joke in my family that I should marry a baker so I could eat all the bread I wanted. Now at the age of 23, it is one of the only things I find extremely hard to give up and cut down on. I love the smell of freshly baked breads and coffee (especially in the winter), so of course I absolutely adore Gail’s Artisan Bakery. They only use the finest ingredients and produce nearly 30 bread varieties daily, making them the inevitable option for my weekly dose of spelt bread.
They offer much more than just delicious bread and serve a full breakfast, lunch and tea menu. You can sit down and enjoy a variety of pastries, sandwiches, and even a thick, creamy Greek yogurt toped with granola. Gail's have 16 locations in London, which are both cute and cosy and a must try for every bread enthusiast. Their range changes seasonally so you will never get bored with their selection. Check out their current bakes, 'Easter Comes Early' hot cross buns and other news on their website.
