On Monday I was invited for the first day of the Superfit Superfood tour, organised by the lovely Laura Bond. The tour is running until 1st Feb and there are a few tickets left so book your spot soon! Each day involves a different workout activity followed by a healthy meal. Laura has some of the best in the fitness and nutrition business on board so it’s definitely not an event to miss! On Monday our day started with a Signature Barre class at Paola’s Bodybarre with Paola herself. We’ve experienced Paola’s classes a few times, both at a Space NK pop-up and TRX at her own Fulham studio, but I somehow forgot how tough they were! It was a very intimate class with just six of us in total so we got lots of attention and supervision. Over the past year, Paola has established herself as one of the best barre instructors in London and trains a number of celebrities including Millie Mackintosh and Rose Fortescue so we always feel special when we’re back in her studio.
After about an hour of attitude legs and grand pliés, I was famished. We then headed over to Hally’s in Parsons Green for some superfood goodness. There was such great mix of women at the table. They ranged from journalists to nutritionists so the conversation over lunch was incredibly interesting. We discussed our own experiences with health over the amazing set menu that had been organised. Lunch started with some fresh juices followed by a mixed plate of delicious salads and then an incredible chocolate beetroot cake! If you’re in the area, definitely pop by Hally’s – wonderful food in the cutest of settings! All in all, a wonderful start to the week! We couldn’t love our job more.
