Hummus is essentially chick peas, tahini and olive oil ground together, whatever you add from there is your own preference. I love garlic and chili, so here is my perfect recipe for homemade hummus.
Ingredients:
200g canned chickpease
1 lemon (juice)
2 garlic cloves, crushed
Salt
100 ml tahini
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsb paprika
3 sun blushed tomatoes
1 ½ tbsp cumin
Instructions:

Drain the chickpeas and rinse.

Combine all ingredients together in food processor, I have used my Nutribullet, be wary that the bullet will process it much faster, you do not want to over churn the ingredients.

Once blended, add a little extra olive oil on top and a sprinkle of paprika for presentation.

Serve with chips or pita bread and you’re good to go!
This is one of my favorite dips to serve when friends come over or even when I am looking for a healthy snack in the afternoon.
